These are some DDR games that have something to do with DDR. They are not the same, but they are similar in a way. They are really good games. I will also rate them from a scale of 1-10, pretty much like I did for the reviews, but you can't rate them in value if they are a computer game. If you have more games that have something to do with Dance Dance Revolution in a way that you can play on the computer, please email me at LilDevilChild225@gmail.com and I will post them up. If you give me one, of course I will give you credit for it.
Flash Flash Revolution
Flash Flash Revolution is a very good game. It is the same exact thing as Dance Dance Revolution, but you use the arrow keys instead of your feet.
I would rate this game an 8/10. The background is allright. It is not the best, but they are ok. I wouldn't want to have them if I was playing DDR though. I would probably play this game a lot in my spare time, if I can't go and play DDR. I recommend playing this game, but it is very hard. I can barely do any of the songs. You need hand-eye coordination, just like you do in DDR. It is pretty difficult using your hands instead of your feet. I haven't been playing for that long anyway. I would rate the sound a 9/10. The sound is pretty good. I don't really like the songs though, so it gets a bit annoying. That is one of the only bad things about the game. Some of the songs are ok, but others stink. The sound is not as good as DDR. The newest version of DDR has the best sound. Overall, it is a really good game.
Pump It Up
Pump It Up is pretty much a remake of DDR. The only difference is that the arrows are placed on the upper right and left corners, and on the lower right and left corners. Also, there is one in the center. It is instead of having one facing upward, one downward, and one on the left and right, with no center. It is so confusing when you need to push all those. The jumps are also confusing. When I played it, I got pretty much all misses and boos. I failed so badly. I would definately rate this game a 5/10. Some people might like it, but I do not. The background is pretty good. 8/10. Very clear. It is not blurry, like some other games. The sound is also pretty good. I would give it an 8/10. Pretty clear. I haven't played it much, so I don't know that much about it. Value, about 20 dollars. Not the best game of my choice, but some may like it. I wouldn't really want to play it again.
Stepmania
Stepmania is a computer version of DDR. If you don't want to waste money on buying the Playstation or Playstation 2 with DDR, then Stepmania is the right program for you. It is much cheaper than buying all of that stuff for the Playstations. With Stepmania, you can either play with the arrow keys, or you can buy a pad and hook it up to your computer. I suggest for the pads, that you buy a Red Octane pad. Click here to see the pad that I got from Red Octane. It is a really good pad, but it got a bit scratched up while it got shipped. I recommend you getting that pad for Stepmania. I would have to rate this game a 10/10 because it will save you so much money. You can practice DDR more often then going to the arcade and you save a lot of money playing at $1.00 for 3 songs. It is so worth it. There are no annoying comments, no annoying background changes, and there are so many more settings changes. It is a lot better than playing DDR at the arcade. I totally recommend everyone getting Stepmania and playing DDR at home, rather than playing the arcade and wasting a lot of money.
